As a Therapist at gokc, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals dedicated to providing top-notch therapy, supervision & small business development. Whether you're fresh out of grad school or have a few years of experience under your belt, we're looking for someone with enthusiasm, compassion, and a drive to excel as an impactful support to the KC community.

And we bring experience helping our therapists successfully launch independent practices once they achieve full licensure. We will celebrate together when you level up & attain that full clinical license!
Who We're Looking For:
1. Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
2. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Missouri (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
3. Fun, Flexibility & Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients.
4. Empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach to counseling.
5. Commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice & effective therapy within a private practice setting.
6. Social Media & Marketing Wizardry - or at least willing to try! gokc’s model is most successful when you are actively engaging your ideal client. *If you build it, they will come!
